- 180g surimi crab sticks, cut into small pieces
- 1 tsp dried basil
- Fresh, chopped basil, for sprinkling
- 1 Tbs chopped fresh parsley
- 2 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- Parmesan cheese, grated, for sprinkling
- 400g pasta (cavatappi pasta or similar)
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 3 ripe plum tomatoes, peeled, seeded and crushed
- ¼ cup red wine
- 250g salmon fillets, canned, drained
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ tsp sugar
- ¾ cup tomato puree

- Saut garlic for 1 minute in hot oil, be careful not to burn it.
